OK, I’ve been looking through the old pics.
Waiting for the ferry from Zambia across to Botswana.
Note the local lady, taking the shade in the ferry stop, on the bench.
Note also the well-packed, light and nimble GS800, poised and ready.
Authentic elephant grass backdrop.

Dont worry i made it up to the old girl and her old man by holding up the traffic and allowing them to cross road in peace and unhurried, traffic on other side was held up by another rider on Triumph sled. Guess it made the old couples day a small act of kindness from two strangers on motorbikes and all we got was nice cheery wave.

Tall trees yes that whet this little area is called mainly because in the backgraound you can see a Douglas fir that along with its partner are the two tallest trees in the New forest.
On to Mudeford Quay and time qunch my thirst with a bottle of Drench and of course a shed load of benches outside the pub and cafe
