1960's Scrambling

Thought these pics may be of interest to some on here.

I've been transferring a load of old family slides to digital and came across these pics. My granddad was a keen biker back in the day and used to drag my mum along to watch grass track and scrambling events in the 1960s. I've absolutely no idea where they were taken, apart from the fact they must be in the midlands somewhere. Funny that his passion ended up being mine!

Amongst the slides was a few pics of this bike. Anyone know what the bike is?

I don't know who the chap on the bike is. My granddad used to work at a garage and from the other pictures it looks like the chap on the bike has just bought it and is showing it off to his mates!

Great pictures , that was my scrambling era , the track looks like it could be hope under dinmore , near Hereford but not sure !!

Haven't found the old photos yet , but in the mean time here is a pic of my 1965 Metisse that I could only dream of owning back in 1965
