I'm a hypocrite I admit. I shoot rats, swot wasps and spray flys and mozzies......but (nearly) everything else gets a reprieve including spiders and occasionally mice.
I'd hate to kill a fox in any way.
If I kept chickens I'd engineer a compound that kept them safe, come on, foxes are smart but I'm smarter.
I've just planted 300 trees and yesterday I noticed that down the bottom of the meadow where the rabbits live they are having a right old nibble at them.
What's my answer?.....I could go to war and shoot them, but I've bought 300 plastic sheaves to protect the vulnerable base of the trees. I like bunnies.
