I was feeling quite pleased with my good dead at work yesterday so I posted it on a Facebook photography page called Scotland From The Roadside.Almost 400 likes later and a news agency has just been in touch wanting my story!
So,a couple of weeks ago swallows started to build a nest on a lorry trailer.I knew the trailer might have to go away before the chicks had fledged so I cut the nest off the chassis and placed it on a piece of board so I could pick it up again.

But the trailer had to go away to get emptied today so I put a stack of pallets as close to the nest site as I could and placed the nest inside.

The family now seem quite content in their new abode. This was one of the adults taking a breather outside the nest and enjoying the new view this afternoon.
