Re: Is this the future of pot holes?
Paint the name of your local MP or councillor in their party colors next to the pot hole, then see how quickly it gets repaired

i think thats the answer for the roads in london. and to draw one it only takes a few seconds as opposed to writing names and coloured flags or whatever. you dont want to stand in the middle of the road for long
Re: Is this the future of pot holes?
The trouble with the UK is some of our potholes have roads :woohoo:
Re: Is this the future of pot holes?
I was in South West Ukraine a couple of weeks ago.
I've seen potholed Tarmac in Eastern Europe, but Ukraine was unbelievable. A lot of the minor roads were all but impassable for anything but old Russian military trucks and the odd 4x4 picking its way, weaving between great chasms ...great fun on the GS800 though!
There was no sign of any repairs going on anywhere. Good roads are important for people's welfare and I can see that parts of the country will be isolated in the very near future.
If Ukraine splits and western Ukraine looks to Europe for assistance, they are going to need billions invested on the road network.
