More recently - at the Mauritanian border post, coming from Morocco. Yes, it's the pile of stones that looks like a sheep pen :laugh:

Many moons ago I stopped to take photos of the sunset behind the mountains as we crossed from Greece into Jugoslavia -- and 20 miles down the road we got stopped by the rozzers, had our films confiscated and spent an uncomfortable night in the local lock-up. Never occurred to me that those mountains were Albania, and all the folks there abouts were a bit twitchy.
