I'm really hoping that the last picture is perspective or else they've got no chance of riding that bike!!! ;)

Is that a line of germans in pic 4 with a large patch of yellow snow behind them....or are they watching the english loose at football again.

And the beast shall be huge and black, and the eyes thereof red with the blood of living creatures, and the whore of Babylon shall ride forth on a three-headed serpent, and throughout the lands, there'll be a great rubbing of parts

Just checked my very heavy rallye hat (when badges were badges!)-----I did it in 1970, 1971, and 1972. 35 quid 350 Matchless and B33 if I remember. It was then at the Nurburgring when the original Sport Hotel was still up--large black wooden building. Yes it was cold--bit of an epic aiming for gaps in the snowdrifts and complete white outs--on standard tyres etc--carbs freezing open, HT leads tracking due to salt build up and so on--helped by small glasses of strong stuff!!--but you never forget--and learn a lot very quickly. :S
