All too true. i' still feeling the loss of Lucky (1999-2014), she was the dog of my life and I had her since I could hold in the palm of my hand until she died in my arms ...almar wrote:It's a sad fact that no matter how much we love em and spoil em one day we are going to lose em and it's heartbreaking
... we were like headless chickens for two years after deciding not to adopt another straight away and I really regretted this, until we 'found' Balto year!

Balto is now 2 years and three month so I guess he's pretty much full size. At 48 kgs he's big for an Alaskan Malamute - according to the 'official' guides at least ... but we think he's tiny, comes with familiarity I guess.
Sure, out in the park he towers above his regular mates but the other day a guy turned up with his 'normal' Siberian Husky, Arlo, and ...
