Bennet’s Cross, just short of the Warren House Inn, up on the top of Dartmoor today.
Perfect weather, looking southwest.
The route was Exeter, Two Bridges, Moretonhampstead, Tavistock, Okehampton, Coppelstone, Exeter and the roads were empty.
