Not today, actually about three years ago. I was flicking through some photos and spotted these two.
Three of us had filtered through to the front of a massive solid motorway jam on a rainy day in Poland.
The road had been closed for about two hours. No one was having a good time.
After about ten minutes the scene commander, a fireman came up to us and began talking in Polish to us (he was in front of us and couldn't see our British number plates) I explained that we where British, he then explained in English that if we followed him whilst pushing our bikes, he would lead us through the wreckage (no fatalities thankfully) and we could be on our way.
We did just that......We enjoyed the next 20 miles at 100mph three abreast on a deserted motorway, the sun even came out.
