Re: A photo you took, today
Hunt for the snow line . . . Local loop ride of about 120 miles looking for the snow line as well as surveying some of the tree damage caused by the “blow” we had 2 weeks ago . . . .
Still some snow left on the Lecht so the ski centre is open for business - not the ski centre shown but the support vehicles storage/garage
Looking back towards the Lecht from the Corgarff side
And as for tree damage – saw whole sections of forestry plantations flattened but this picture was taken on the bendy bit of road near Kildrummy castle. Whilst it’s just conifers you can see in this picture, behind me was a whole stand of very mature beech trees that had been floored. They had all been cut & cleared, hence no picture

East end of Roman Road, Llandovery. My first time as a Welsh Icebreaker
We rode it in reverse later being chased by rain. SW corner of the Epynt ranges. No legal lanes that arnt tarmac (or close) as the Druids Way is officially closed, even to military personnel.
Shant bother going there again, but the little lane that got us up there was lovely.
