Few pics from this mornings ride into London (for work), on roads that are typically heaving with traffic. A13, along embankment to Lambeth.
Guess this is the 'new normal'...

I had a job to salisbury this morning so nipped into Waitrose Oxford st to get some sarnies for the trip and saw this lot in Cavendish Sq where they usually pitch up for the night.They get off the coach from Romania work a few weeks (lifting,) then head home again to add a new wing to the house. Empty streets,no one to rob at the moment so they were just hanging about in the sun. Oh the good life for some aye?

In my slight boredom to put my day in right now, I spotted these water droplets on a plant in the rear garden, so grabbed the Fuji and shot/produced this;

As I'm in quarantine and can't get out and about, thought I'd take a photo of my pride n' joy in the rear garden today;

Re: A photo you took, today
I found this photo from my digital files.
This was my first proper motorcycle in 1979, my Suzuki X7 250, bought brand new when I was an apprentice Motorcycle Mechanic for a Honda Dealership in Belfast. I fitted Allspeed Race pipes/K&N Race air filters/larger jets/skimmed head etc...

Purchased from Northern Motorcycles, Belfast. Great memories/great motorcycle times then....

Re: A photo you took, today
Your Honda dealer employer must of been pleased buying a Suzuki
Your Irish plate reminded me my 1st on the road bike in 1969 was a Suzuki k11 an 80cc trail bike imported from Ireland, I don't have a picture sadly but remember it was 5908 PZ. I was also an apprentice mechanic, but not motorcycle, I used get stopped often by the police who thought the number plate was suspect, no anpr or computer then just a producer to go to the police station.

Bob , how's this for a laugh ? Yesterday I had a job to Companies House in Cardiff. Panicked over the bridge as I thought I'd taken the wrong one ! No toll booths, where's the F'in toll booths ? Didn't know they had been scrapped more than a year ago !!!boboneleg wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 9:43 pmIt's a different world is London to most of us Nick.soho wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 6:34 pm I had a job to salisbury this morning so nipped into Waitrose Oxford st to get some sarnies for the trip and saw this lot in Cavendish Sq where they usually pitch up for the night.They get off the coach from Romania work a few weeks (lifting,) then head home again to add a new wing to the house.
