Well bought a bashplate from portugal sold on uk ebay...very good quality at 113 quid...fits easy and drops down for oil change , added some acoustic foam to deaden the engine noise and bamm im ready for the rocky roads of spain

Nowt wrong with it as id not attached the pump protextion I'd removed to fit it... Been out on the ccm lately...

Another good day.
A river crossing deeper than my boots
A closed road due to subsidence as half of it fell down the hill - just rode around the barriers and kept going
And then headed up the coast to Nafplion

Yesterday as it happens, had some fueling issues (don't they all?) didn't get far as the wind tried to blow me off the road.

Last ride: back to Athens. Stopped in at Mycenae, just me there.
Stats for the journey: 435 miles covered, average 156.5mpg!! Rental of small bike for 5 days: €90.

No idea why I’ve gone sideways. But just worked out petrol cost to be 12.7 litres, total of €20.
So that’s €110 for 5 days rental and petrol included. Can’t be bad.
