A little vid from last weekend down at Phil's in the Lot, France. This gulley is a lot trickier than it looks in the vid
Sorry about annoying text watermark but was a free trial app that I had to use to edit as the phone footage was in portrait format ( try to hold the phone landscape for vids next time chaps )
Big thanks to Phil for guiding and encouraging all of us out of shape and out of practice old gits round some great trails and off piste stuff.
Also big thanks too to the wonderful Jax for all the lovely grub and great hospitality, standard fare of course down at Jax Shax
Had a great weekend, good to see old mates again after so long.

Re: Jax Shax - Dead Man's Gulch
Yeah, a fantastic trip into the heart of darkness with Phil, Shan, Matt, Steve and Nick. I loved it. Dead Man's Gulch (a.k.a. The Devil's Arsecrack) was formidable (french accent please).
I particularly loved the concussion from headbutting a tree, the shaking limbs, and the pain and numbness I still have now on Thursday, 4 days later.
But it's all worth it of course to be out with the old crowd after months off a bike. I had assumed that the ritual group sex could be left out this time, given the social distancing guidelines, but no. Luckily it's not on the video. The horror, the horror...

I have learnt over time that when Phil says a route is 'OK' , it really means you are going to be 'fecked'
