hallo to everybody!
A trip with my Tenere xt660z and my camera in my bag.
This is a video from abandoned village since 1980.
Placed at Greece ,at Kavala city.
Ruins from houses ,a completely desert place, liked some war that happened,
but with the church at center that is open and service.
Enjoy the video here

wOw -- very nicely videod, well done...!
Abandoned places like this have solice to them, hidden memories/treasures of the past and you'd just love to wind the clock back 50/60 years and experience those mysteries/events etc...
Fabulous!

Greetings Mallllias,
That is a very interesting and well presented video you have given us the pleasure of watching. The background music suited the visual effects amazingly, unlike so many to me which are just a raucous background distraction.
I, and probably many others, should be interested to know why the village was deserted yet still has such a beautiful and spiritual church?

1960 people start progressively to leave the village to find jobs and other places to stay.
1976 new village was starting to build some kilometres near.
1980 new village was ready and the old one was completely abandoned,
it's desolate since then, except one or two houses that some decide to rebuild them recently.
they moved at the meadow of Nestos river side.
