Short riders

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

Short riders

Post by Mike54 »

See this video featuring SA rider, Taye Perry, who is just over 5 feet tall (and in this years Dakar)

The answer is don't lower your bike, just get better ;-)

That's the one, not sure why the first is saying private, it wasn't before.

Women cope with lack of stature better than short men in my experience.

This is possibly because short men spend excessive energy worrying about their shortcomings and attempting to compensate (which is impossible and futile).

For avoidance of doubt, the definition of male shortness is anybody of less than 6'3".

Just sayin'

Just think how far the ground is below us at 6’3. It’s a big drop from up there.
I only have a 33” inside leg though so lowering the Husky has really helped.
However, most of our lanes are through hedgerows so I can’t stand up anyway as I just get clouted on my helmet or in the face.

By now, getting better is not a likely solution. :(

Dansin post gone same way.
Probably contravening Dakar official publication rights.

I think it was a technical issue as it wasn't playable on the official Dakar site either. It should be available here: https://www.dakar.com/en/stage-3/bike/gallery/video
