He's filtering at a reasonable speed ; she steps out into the road between traffic without checking that it was safe to do so.

Agree with Spike, the other traffic was stopped which should immediately alert you to the possibility of people taking the opportunity to cross, also either the blokes observation is piss poor or he just didnt give a fuck.

I sing while riding. Quite a lot actually. It's better for everyone that I restrict any singing to when I'm on the bike, because nobody but me has to suffer it.
The others don't know it, but when we are out greenlaning I sing and hum whole albums sometimes.
