Will the KTM 790 Adventure Kill the 1090 Adventure?

So I recently had the opportunity to ride the 1090 Adventure R in Niagara wine country in ontario Canada. Thoughts? Love the bike. I think it might be my favourite KTM... maybe. It's a great ride with just the right balance of weight, power, comfort and affordability. However, KTM now has a 690, 790, 1090 and 1290 in niches where all of the other manufacturers only field two bikes. Is KTM competing against itself? Share your thoughts.
