Thats the bike that whatshisface used on the trip to South Africa on the Worlds Greatest Motorcycle Rides, after a few miles of road work the exhausts failed, the rear shock mounts broke off, and the main frame failed causing it to spew oil thus ending the journey.
Mind you the replacement bike.. KTM 990 broke down also.
Re the fence, I noted the SIX FOOT! fence was held together with string, so it could disintegrate on impact?
