That's in Hawick in the Scottish Borders, about 15 miles from me. If he had done that to me I wouldn't have been that calm about it . Will have to keep an eye open for the idiot, unless they have scraped him of the road already.

Re: Soon to be a donor?
75/25.
Idiot ped rider takes 75% of the blame IMO, for being impatient, trying to get ahead at any cost, and pulling a stupid undertake. But he's young, foolish and inexperienced. They don't have much concept of risk or danger at that age.
But the biker has to take the other 25% for leaving his right indicator on, which should have been switched to a left indicator to signal his exit from the roundabout anyway, then at the last minute his switched to a left indicator, and turned left into the path of the undertaking ped, without a left mirror or shoulder check. His road position suggested he was going right too. The ped rider thought he was signalling right and slowing down, to pull into the empty car parking space behind the white SUV.
As with most accidents, one party is often more to blame, but there it's usually both parties that fecked up in some way which sent things awry enough to cause a collision.

That twat scooter rider asshole probably has no insurance. I'd have removed his ignition key and rang 999. Wreckless driving offence.
