I've recently come across 'It's Not About the Bike' by Lance Armstrong. I know it's not a motorbike manual, or a 'travel' book as such....it's about Armstrong's journey "Back to Life" and how he recovered from 4th Stage Cancer. It's an interesting read as Lance describes the stages of his acceptance of his medical condition and how he tackled the emotions/depression along the way to recovery. Very inspirational so far.
The other one I am re-reading is 'Indecent Exposure' by Tom Sharpe. I last read this about 10 years ago (possibly longer I think). Its hilarious and still makes me laugh out loud. Sharpe in a 'quiet' way, was a hero to me growing up in the 1980's. He was deported from South Africa for speaking out against the establishment. The book mocks the apartheid and the regime at the time.

Lance Armstrongs book is a great read.
I've just started Stealing Speed by Mat Oxley
about Walter Kaaden developing two strokes for MZ then Ernst Degner defecting with it to Suzuki. Fascinating good read.

Walking on water by Geoff Holt...his life story before and after becoming a quadriplegic and sailing solo round britain. Local lad so all the more interesting.
