a big mess but 'one of those things' colin and rossi must feel like shit but there was nothing either of them could do to avoid it from what i saw. looked to me like marco had low/highsided (off camera), tried to pick it up again but somehow veered across the others while hanging off the right hand side of his bike, and 'POW!' they can say what they like about being conscious afterwards but personally i dont think he felt much it was over pretty quick for him.

all sympathy to marco's friends and family but also to colin and vale, they must be pretty low right now.

'sideshow bob' rode a bit wild but thats what made him great to watch, he reminded me of pre-ban haga in WSB he would get past or crash trying, especially if it was dovizioso in front of him, a red rag to a bull! exactly the sort of character dorna and motoGP desperately needs, with only 15/16 starters every race its so boring this year.

died doing what he lived for, hope someone can say that about me when its my time.

Saw this too when it happened

Sad loss

I saw it as a race incident and you have to feel for Colin too

Such a shame, he was so entertaining to watch and was showing great improvement with the recent podiums.

I also think this will be the end for Rossi too.

RIP Marco.

The latest is that he isn't planning to retire:

but that could always change.
