Hello LWR, nice to know some of us are keeping the economy ticking over whilst the rest are out playing. Mind you, I'm going to get in a few hours on the Tiger later, probably down to Broadway Tower in the Cotswolds.

Yes , we always work holiday mondays , and take off other mondays instead .. This way we do not have to put up with the crowds on holidays ..Hello LWR, nice to know some of us are keeping the economy ticking over whilst the rest are out playing. I have just got back from a quick spin to visit friends and although the traffic was not as bad I had expected I shall soon be off around the lanes on my bicycle, and will hardly see a single car.

Up North we do not get this bank holiday off work.
However, although we have to work this holiday we still have to put up with the banks and post offices shut.
Hmpff. Sun is out in Aberdeen as well.
