I suppose you can understand their thinking but it’s a big chunk of money they are missing, maybe they should’ve waited to see the effect of the vaccine programme?

A case of 'stick' rather than 'twist'...known profit forgone less than the unknown cost of a late cancellation?
I wonder if it will start up again?

Re: No TT next year
How unlucky are the organisers of the IOM TT ? The timing of their annual event and the spread of the pandemic in 2020 was very unfortunate. And now it's happening again. It's a brave but probably a good decision to cancel 2021 at this early stage, before bookings of tickets, ferries and accommodation build up and need complicated reimbursement later.

There’s a lot more draws people to the IOM trials, car rallies etc could prove to be another disastrous year for them?
