Some essential supplies can only be transported by motorcycle 8-)
even if it is a short distance

and sometimes the car is broken down, ;)

The lease runs out on my car in two weeks so my bike will be only transport... and I've ridden it twice since the lockdown came into force.

Wearing a crash helmet has to be safer.
I will have to pick up my prescription every month plus other quick stops for essential items so bike will be best. You can bet the car parks won’t be free!

Just done the same picked up prescriptions and essentials from local shop on way home. Nitrile gloves under bike gloves so when out of shop, put them in bin and bike gloves back on. Didn't take helmet off and they didn't think I had come to rob the shop
Scooter handy with under seat storage and shopping bag hook between your knees and easy parking. Well worth keeping it taxed and bike shop cancelled the mot on Saturday but now have six months grace. Stay safe all

Mine have been SORN over winter

Normally tax them today

Think I will tax one, so I can get meds and take the long way home

One is due tax and insurance tomorrow, think I will insure it incase a scrote visits in the small hours but declare Sorn for road tax.
My Wife's is taxed until August so may suggest she Sorns that.
My Himalayan is taxed until July but will keep that on the road just incase the need arises.

SORN'd 2 bikes but leaving 1 road ready, thinking about SORNing my car as the wife's is low emission taxfree so no point in SORNing.
Any tax refunds come as a cheque, all the local banks have closed, so I suppose I have to drive/ride 10-15 miles to an open bank to put the refunds into the banking system. Cannot use the Post Office (if they are open?) as do not have any paying in slips.
