Check out induction motors then, because some diy kit uses them. I was doing some tiling in a French friend's place last weekend and using an electric wet tile cutter......it had an induction motor too. So had some of the the other stuff in their very extensive workshop....

Still here, still waiting.
Looks like I'm gonna miss my own birthday party.
Still, it could be worse, I could be dead!

Move to France, Richard. Proper health service, properly funded. You'd be all fitted up on day one, then a week or two of managed recuperation in a spa facility.. No, I'm not joking...Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 2:17 pm Still here, still waiting.

Is it a new one, or are you having refurbed unit ? Could be they are still trying to get it cleaned up !Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 7:29 am Cheers everyone...still sitting in hospital waiting for the op.
It all kicked off last night with a 'confused' gentleman throwing himself around...the wildest least sleep birthday I ever had!
In the meantime, surely Deliveroo could drop by with a candle on a cake ? .......

Should be out of here this evening.
Standard of care and treatment has been first class. The only issue is a seeming disconnect between senior managers and coal-face workers.
