Re: Pacemaker's owners club
I have a friend with one, thing is to watch that you cannot go near HT stuff as in electrical systems but he still does bikes and work on them apart from certain things. He can't do things like test plugs for sparks.Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 3:18 pm Is anyone a pacemaker user.
Much to my surprise, the NHS is giving me a pacemaker for my 60th Birthday!
I'm currently sitting on a ward listening to a lot of bleeping, and have my very own telemetry box around my neck.
Does anyone here have a pacemaker...any hints or tips esp regarding motorcycling, would be welcome

Wishing you a speedy recovery Richard.
BTW, If you’ve got an induction hob at home it would be worth asking if it’s safe to use.
I remember reading somewhere that they can interfere with pacemakers.
Hope your back on two wheels in time for Spring.

Cheers everyone...still sitting in hospital waiting for the op.
It all kicked off last night with a 'confused' gentleman throwing himself around...the wildest least sleep birthday I ever had!

it'll soon be all `done and dusted`, mate ….. just be patient as a patient and patience will be rewarded … hang on in there and just relax, if possible ….. get some Big Truck porn magazines to read and ogle the young lady nurses ... you'll feel a lot better
