May be I'm a bit thick, or I'm not navigating the Rally Moto site very well but can someone confirm.......
The 150kg limit.....All bikes must be over 150kg?
The 500 bit.....All bikes must be over 500cc?
Any other information would be appreciated

The 500 bit is the overall event distance in kms.

Bike must be over 140kgs.

As you like BMW's and the Tenalady you'll be fine re the weight........ ;)

Above post is correct. I saw a few CCM GP450's there and I think even a smaller Honda (250 or something) but that was ridden by a girl who had asked Burt if it's ok.

Kielder is sold out though I believe, went within 48 hours?

THE “500’S” RULES AND REGS

The rules and regulations for the Kielder 500, Wales 500 and IOM 500 are as follows:-

Riders can use any road legal motorcycle over 140kg to take part in a “500” event.
This event is specifically designed for “Adventure Style” bikes.
Minimal distance for the event is 500km, usually over 2 days.
This is a 100% navigational event.
The responsibility for any vehicle involved in the event rests with the rider/owner of the vehicle.
The route will be provided by the organisers in an “adventure style” roadbook format.
The organisation team will provide a manual roadbook holder suitable for the event.
A back up GPX file will be provided to the riders (this will be different to the roadbook course)
All riders will be GPS tracked for safety – GPS tracking is supplied by the organisation team.
All riders will receive a “Finishers Medal” for completing the course accurately and correctly. Finishers medals will be categorised as follows:
Gold – Up to 19th place
Silver – 20th to 39th place
Bronze – 40th place plus
Criteria for results:
Length of distance travelled (compared to roadbook route distance)
Minimal penalty points
The length of course plus the penalty points calculated in metres = riders score.
Any riders following the GPX course will be demoted to a Bronze medal finisher
Any rider under the course length will be a Bronze level finisher.
Penalties will be applied as follows:
Over speed in speed restriction zones – 500m added to overall distance travelled per offence. (There will be multiple checks per speed restriction zone)
Course cutting – exclusion
Behaviour not in the spirit of the event, such as abuse to marshals or officials – exclusion.
The route uses private and Forestry ground which is absolutely out of bounds unless specifically part of an authorised and permitted “500” event. Any rider found to be riding in any of these areas outside of the event will be banned from all future RallyMoto activities and excluded from any associated activities.
The organisers decision on all matters is final.

I've onle ever done one of the shorter Rally Sprint events but enjoyed it a lot.
Do they have any events more like the 500 but using GPS for the Nav element?

Rob110 (on here?) runs 150 - 200km/day GPS Nav events from SweetLamb - next one is in April IIRC.
