Whinging ?? about 6 bikes being stolen from a supposedly secure site organised by a national magazine which had security looking after it ?

I take it you won't be too arsed if they steal your bike tonight then ?
I think byewayrider was being tongue in cheek.
Anyway, I reckon they'll be insured for theft

I don't want to sound clever, If I had my bike nicked I would be utterly gutted, but there is a very good and cheap idea that might help and costs peanuts. Cheap rape alarms on Ebay ( from about £1.99) come with a lanyard which when pulled out sets off the 120db alarm, several of these , clipped around tentpegs or the next bike or onto the van which emit a 120db scream designed to scare people off would have helped. OK a pain to set up but a cheap deterrent.

I'm with you on the razor blades but from what I understand it all took place before the public were anywhere near the site, I'd reckon that they had a plan in and out and who to target. At least while the public were there none of the Ducati's were put away and several other stands didn't hide their stuff ,Yamaha excepted. It's a real shame and I hope Desert Rose get it all sorted quickly
