Are you folks still going to the AV8 cafe ? Sounds like a nice drop in.I've never been there. ( I'm looking for an alternative route other than straight up the M40)

Be aware the AV8 has only just re opened after their roof blew off last winter, last weekend was the first weekend they were open and it was bookings only for food, although they were doing takeaways that you could eat/drink on the decking out front...great venue still though...

It's a fairly regular haunt for me, I even enjoyed the temporary burger van they had while they mended the roof.

To be honest its been like that for the last 100k km , seein over it is no problem , the problem is my eyes
