Did it not piss it down with rain just after that and we rode to foix for a hotel, and buffalo grill feast :D

Are you folks still going to the AV8 cafe ? Sounds like a nice drop in.I've never been there. ( I'm looking for an alternative route other than straight up the M40)

Be aware the AV8 has only just re opened after their roof blew off last winter, last weekend was the first weekend they were open and it was bookings only for food, although they were doing takeaways that you could eat/drink on the decking out front...great venue still though...Image

No Nick, we are heading to Bob's for cake.

I would say go for it mate, the AV8 is a great café and you get to watch all the different planes taking off and landing.
