had the Varadero MOTd this morning and was asked to switch on my front auxiliary light's , the Tester told me it is now part of the test & if you have them fitted they have to work .

It's not a new thing if there fitted they have to work pretty obvious really why would you have aux light's that didnt work its the same as a headlight in the same respect as if indicators are fitted they have to work.if you have it fitted it should work

Slightly off topic but on cars, vans etc if you have a high level brake light andbit dosent work you tell tester before and its not a fail...

Crazy world... They never testes my fog light on bike recently..

The bike MoT has just changed, according to my tester.

He tested my CCM and Gas Gas on the last day of the 'old' test, and said he was going to have a look to see what was new about the 'new' test that night!

Just removed my HID main & dipped lights this week

Dubious & questionable whether they are legal anymore

Just had my 950 MOT'd during test nothing was mentioned about my spots.
After test had a chat as you do and asked about the spots, his understanding was if the spots are wired to the headlight then they come under the Most rules.
If however as mine are on a separate switch and used as an occasional auxiliary then they are not covered.
