Butterpuke

Post by daveuprite »

Had our lunch in the garden, got distracted and turned our backs for a minute, and left a 500g pack of butter on the table.

Sure enough Max the eating machine swiped the butter and ran off with it, then wolfed the lot.

Tick tock tick tock, the waiting game began. Which end would it emerge from and what would it look like? Surprisingly it wasn't until later that night when he ralphed up his entire yellowy stomach contents, lubricated by beurre gastronomique, all over our living room rug. Nice.

Oh the joy of scooping up a kilo of labrador sick... :D

Yuck!

I had a few tons of bark mulch delivered into the farmers field next door which I’ve been borrowing into the garden all day today.

This required me to take down a section of fence and I was worried the dog would escape and run off.

He didn't even notice a fence was down after I brought him a present from the butchers!

Here he is having a breather after four hours of chomping!

 that does not sound fun! I always remember my dog getting a whole ring of chorizo off the kitchen side one day. Paprika scented squirts for a week!

About 25 years ago I gave our dog a Magnum ice cream, a whole one straight from the stick.....I even held it for him.

Yep, 15 minutes later and Benny was looking at the Magnum on the carpet, I didn’t let him eat it a second time.

Our Max is utterly gross. If he gets the chance he treats his own vomit as 'seconds'. It's horrible. And even worse he sometimes helps himself to the contents of the cats' litter tray. We call it the 'snack bar'. He truly is the most disgusting dog.

And we love him to bits.
