Best of luck finding parts of the Viking Way to ride. Not ridden it for maybe 10 years and back then large parts around NE Leics/Lincoln border were shut, Buckminster attracts a lot of Police attention due to 'tossers on crossers' and the bits that are left suffered badly in the wet even on enduro bikes.

Thanks for the heads-up. I was wondering how much was accessible as, when you look on an OS map, many parts don't show as open to all traffic, just footpath or bridleway. What got me interested was this route posted in the GPS Route Files section: https://adventurebikerider.com/forum/vi ... 43&t=36243

Just looked at that gpx route and it looks like it's all on road so should be ok, most of the original Viking Way has been lost to the mud as have many enduro bikes and quads, lol.

I’m going to France to Phil’s for a week. An extra day courtesy of Brexit. Then I get back for four days and then it’s the Taffy Dakar. The wife’s kind enough to let me go to that on our wedding anniversary!

That's funny. We're going down to Jax and returning Easter weekend! I assume you're the following week.

I'm nearly always away on our anniversary She's a good lass though and doesn't make me pay for it (much!)

Were probably going to arrive sometime on the 18th, Hope Phil hasn't double booked... -- its probably as Welsh holidays are earlier than English ones!

I've got an extended shutdown with work so I've actually got 2 1/2 weeks off so I'm told I'm doing the garden, although I've said I'm not doing the Easter weekend so I can go down to sweetlamb for the first sweetlamb KTM experience weekend, if Molly needs my help or not
