Diane Abbott has reportedly complained ... which on the basis of previous experience probably means that it's a good thing.

The idea is a good one. But needs upgrading...

unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your view, it is only a matter of time before a police driver kills one of the darlings …….. ?

.. and tbh there is something vaguely disturbing about a police driver mowing down a member of the public, on suspicion of an offence?

.. what offence will it entail in future (parking? driving thro a yellow light? not indicating?.. .. )
.. mistaken identity??

although it is a much-needed reaction to curb our local low life scum .. it will not be allowed to last long?

Understand why they do it but going from not chasing because they are not wearing a lid (their choice!) To nearfing them off is quite a leap, if they come off because they can't corner tough but wouldn't want to be a copper who has to do that, one day . . .

There has been one so far, but as he rode straight through a junction into the side of a police car, deemed unrelated to the chase.

I unfortunately see quite a lot of these (insert word description of choice) on my commute, they're not just a robbery epidemic for bikes & phones, they do whatever they want on or off the road. How do you deal with that?
With enough profanity, you can accomplish anything

Considering they’ll be on stolen scooters or stolen numberplates, thus : not insured and or without a license either.. who cares!!

If a police car is sounding their noisy sirens and lights and you refuse to pull over, be prepared to be rammed!
