A40 into London average speed camera speed lowering to 40mph
Just a quick heads up that the average speed camera area on the A40 into London ( from the Polish war memorial onwards) is lowering down to 40mph from this Sunday. I still see bikes fly past in the camera zone (two this morning both adventure bikes, a triumph and a Yamaha) so be on the lookout as the signs are relatively small. Also keep your wits about you as vehicles joining the road are not monitored so drive as fast as they like before hitting the first camera. It's become quite a dangerous road because of that and the powers that be have got their heads up their arse by the backward thinking that lowering the speed limit constantly will cure the problem.

Re: A40 into London average speed camera speed lowering to 40mph
That's a bummer . The run down the A40 to the Ace Cafe is slow enough anyway without any further restrictions. Last week I saw a DPD driver REVERSING on the A40 because he'd missed the Alperton Lane junction
