Don't do this
Dislocate your thumb , it feckin hurts , I tried to grab a heavy cattle gate that was falling over and got my thumb stuck in gat latch , it twisted my thumb backwards, the only way I could get my thumb back to the correct position was grab it with my right hand and force it back , I have to say I did wet myself a bit

Re: Don't do this
Yep, does hurt. Did it on my old DRZ doing a Superman, going downhill throttle hand
Strapped it up and then popped out about an hour later. Had to then ride 90 minutes home. Still prays on my mind 14 years later. As they say once its popped out, all your tendons etc stretch, so more easily done again
Be brave lol

Re: Don't do this
Reminds me of cranking diesel engines on boats and diesel concrete mixers keeping your thumb out of the way in case it kicked back.....painful.

God 'elp em. The blind leading the blind.
Next announcement: Steve chops his own head off with a spoon.
"Ah, but we're still going on 'TET though"
P.S. Get well soon Bob - bloody painful that.

Oow
That'll be handy if you're ever handcuffed, you can dislocate your thumb and escape
Knew a lad who had dislocated his knee at some stage, every now and then it would pop, and he would have to get a couple of us to help pop it back. Basically we had stretch him out one of us grab his foot and other grab under his arms while he twisted at crucial point to pop it back.
A really sickening sound
