Very many years ago my mother, in her sixties at the time, was taken into hospital. On telling our 5 year old son his reaction was “Is she going to have a baby?”

Around the same time our dog died. The following morning whilst I was burying her at the bottom of the garden our daughter asked what I was doing. On being told she reacted “When daddy has buried her will she get better?”

Lastly our granddaughter recently asked her mother, “Mummy, when I grow up will I have a hairy bottom like daddy”.

My cousin's dog died and he buried it in his garden. My little sister was interested at the time so he explained how he wrapped the dog up and then put it in a bin liner before the burial......

My little sister burst into tears and said he had to dig it up as it would never be able to breath in the bin liner!
