Although I'd be interested to see if anyone can reference a quantifiable benefit of a no-deal Brexit...
Less food means a less overweight population which reduces the pressure on the NHS  .

Decreased availability could well stymie the disgusting food wastage habit in this country, another plus.

The scare stories are getting ridiculous, Trading under WTO conditions will not turn the UK into Richard's wasteland.
As I alluded to earlier money isn't everything to me, conversely I observe most remoaners seems to be obsessed with it and use it as their only arguement to staying in the Quasi-Socialist European Republic

As I am now retired, I am rejoicing in any interest rate rise. Still got to wait two years for my state pension though, despite paying non stop for 47 years.
Too much griping in the media about mortgages going up by two Pret sandwiches a month.
Conveniently ignoring house prices, these low interest rates have been a godsend to house buyers compared to the 15% we had briefly.

And yet extreme lefties see the EU as a capitalist lap dog.
Makes you think.

All I read at the moment, mainly in the media, but on here as well, is as I predicted, it’s all going ‘Tits Up’ . Oh I do hope I’m proved wrong, or that’s my retirement up the Swanny. Who was looking for a bridge?
Thanks for all the reassuring replies from those leavers, feel a lot happier now. Guess I’ll just cross my fingers and hope for the best. Just like everyone else, leavers and remainders alike.

You could always use your own experience of the last decades and use this to inform your judgements on the future, but if you tend to be lead by the media and need what to be informed by people on an internet forum, perhaps the EU is exactly the sort of all encompassing leadership that will work best for you.

Hey look we got 2 way Sarcasm going now

Based on my own experience of the last decades, my future was looking really good until the leave vote. No so sure now though. Yes the EU worked for me, but not necessarily for the best though, but it worked. Sarcasm, banter....... please don’t take offense. If sounds like at times, not intended. I just hope leaving pays off, and relatively soon while I’m still active enough to enjoy it, just that I’m really struggling see it. We knew what we had, but have no idea what we’re getting. But hey, that goes for all of us. Take care and signing out. Had my moan. Will stick to biking related posts, and humorous ones from now on.

That's precisily what I've done and it's been a pretty good period for myself, friends and famiily so was looking for stability for that continue. Of course I obviously can't have a direct compasirion as to what the last 40 odd years would have been like without our involvemet but I can only compare to the lifestyle, opportunities, education, health and lifespan our parents and thier parents before them enjoyed. I'm not sure exactly which period leavers are talking about when they talk of 'make Britain great again' but was certainly before my time of six kids in a council house with no double glazing and no central heating, although I hugely enjoyed my childhood I'm not in a huge rush to go back to those living conditions or to ask my children to do so.
It's not all about yourself, sometime you have to think about what's better for others, particularly if you have children.
