OK so nostalgia ain't what it used to be, but look at this!

Anything goes, and mine's a Guinness.

If this doesn't stir some memories I don't know what will. I used to love a brown derby. Look at the prices!

Was a regular in the early 80's & very tasty (considering the meat was probably lips & eyelids) .
Amazing to see the prices .
Thanks for posting

I can't remember ever having 'Bender The Meaty Frankfurter' - but I'm sure it was a quite a mouthful and filled you right up. And a bargain at 16 1/2 pence.

I don’t understand why you knicked the wimpy price list in the beginning but hanging onto it all this time is very sad

Shanty brunch?
Love it.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

There's still one in the high street right near where I live. Certainly not those prices though!

Just love the food presentation. Someone was paid no doubt, probably not very much, to arrange those burgers and chips to make them look half appetising. I was in the catering trade in the 70’s, part time in the kitchen of a pub restaurant, earning 56 and a 1/4 pence an hour. I remember thinking Wimpeys were too expensive back then.
