A stop at Clonduff Old Church Graveyard, just outside Hilltown this morning. Lovely backdrop of the Mourne Mountains.

I saw this old graveyard in the eastern US, high on a hill with nothing much else about. No historical markers or information. I would love to end up in a place like this.

Nice looking spot. Came across a simular setting here in the Glens of Antrim - could think of worse places for my bones to end up!

I was in the south Tirol this summer, so German speaking Italy, and came across this memorial to soldiers who fell all through the war and on all of the fronts.
My grandparents wouldn’t have thought much of it but they buried family members killed by Germans in two wars.
I thought it was very nice.
