Mmmmn - hopefully there is more functionality yet to be launched.

If it is only going to be like FB, can't really see the point as the TRF already has a FB National group page. Plus the TRF Groups I follow have their own FB groups.

I suppose we need to give it time.....

How a national organisation is supposed to function without a national forum relying instead on various local forums and facebooks I really dont know, its well documented that a large section of the membership dont like/won't use facebook, so we end up with a much divided TRF, very disappointing although inevitable in the last couple of years the forum has been in serious decline because of the cavalier way it was moderated with seemingly innocent posts being removed without explanation and the barring of some long time TRF members.

Seems like an excellent tool for burying discussion to me. Hopefully members pressure will include some structure.
Members like me who are rarely able to attend group meetings now have even less contact. However, as said the forum was hardly a place for open discussion.
Perhaps this can be sorted at the AGM.

It looks pretty though. That's the main thing I guess.
Just along for the ride.

TRAIL just had a look, what a crap site not a patch on the old forum. I for one will not bother getting a sign in for it.
This is the final year for me and I am not renewing my TRF membership after 10 years. I think it has lost its fellowship/club feeling and the priority is mainly focussed on membership numbers and corporate image.
