Folk that know me know i'm a grumpy old badger but i do care !!!!

Fitted a wood burner for an old lad here but he didn't have any wood so being a good sort of an egg i offered to get him some

WHAT A LOAD OF FUCKING ABOUT !!!!!

Called 3 times at the wood yard and nobody but his wife there and even though i explained what it was for she didn't know which wood to take !!! so eventually took him 2cu M of ours to get him going.

Anyway go a call last night saying he'd be around in the morning , called in and as an apoligy he gave me 3cu M for the price of 2

It does indeed pay to be nice.
In my working days I had a number of small architectural jobs that lead on to substantial projects and those clients have friends etc etc.
I got through the recession years very nicely by having mostly city or retired city type clients who are never short of money.
