I only watch F1 now for the pit girls and the first corner smash ups!!! sadly both are getting a rare sight these days!!!! Blokes like crashes and birds, end of!! If the nimbies get their way they'll be Trannies on the grid next!!!! (Ooops hope I haven't upset anyone!)

They do look out of place, they are part of another time.

There have also been female riders in Moto 3 and BSB.
So the 'glamour girls' do seem out of place.
That said, I've met some of the grid girls socially, and they enjoy the work (except when it's cold) and the money isn't bad. When I worked for EMAP, some of the 'MCN girls' worked in the same office as we did as their 'day job'.
But it's not the 1980s any more...
