Welsh TT

Post by PaulinBont »

Weekend commencing 4th August 2018 ; Sennybridge Training Area , alternatively known as the Epynt Ranges will be hosting a road race on the Range Roads which should be a brilliant spectator spectacle. John McGuiness is the first big name to commit, apparently there will be further names announced at the Bike Show this week.

It will be a great experience and whilst down this why not spends a few days experiencing the wonderful roads in this part of the world. Rhayader isn't far from Epynt and is a great base to be located at; nice camping at Wyeside or the Red Kite feeding centre.

Elan Valley, mid-Wales, Brecon Beacons, Strata Florida :)

I agree with Paul, it's a great part of the world.

Just hope that not to many spectators run out of talent and spanner themselves on the local roads, though

Not when every bugger discovers it ....like the NC500
Ruined forever now as every tosser on a sports bike will race around it flinging themselves into the undergrowth

It isn't really a track, more like two B roads and unclassified military roads connecting the various firing ranges. I wonder what they will do about the suicidal sheep ????

They had an onboard video with commentary running through the changes for the race weekend e.g. moving piles of logs, cows, sheep, cyclists etc.
