Top 3 worst feelings on a bike

1. Doing 70mph in heavy traffic, being stung in the temple by a wasp, but can't stop so have to just ride it out

3. Getting home from the annual 'big trip' and knowing its 350 sleeps to the next one

When there is nothing you can do to stop your bike from dropping in front of other bikers.
When a car pulls out of a side road right in front of you.
When someone is driving right up your arse on a motorway and there is no way out.

Pulling away from a pub car park with a disc lock still attached... to your disc... and the subsequent crunch and the pain and the embarrassment of you and the bike making unplanned contact with the ground...allegedly...

Feeling the back end slide away from you at making progress speeds on a motorway then managing to pull into the hard shoulder with a puncture just AFTER the lights for a junction at 10 0'clock at night in the middle of nowhere.

Looking up and seeing an empty mirror when riding as a pair... or that the headlight behind you on a dark night on the Fosse Way belongs to a battered Fiesta with a single working headlight not your partner on her bike and you then have a hearts stopping ride back the way you came... that one turned out OK in the end.
