HMRC

Post by lancashirelad »

I ordered some bits from Japan on 10th Sept they arrived in UK on the 12th good service BUT they sat in customs until 19th then customs charges were raised, they were released on the 22nd then the charges were "revised" not much good paying for the faster postage then??
I think I'll write to Her Majesty and complain :D

They may have reassessed the item cost because they thought it was mis priced and thus the import charges ,what is it btw?

Not necessarily HMRC, more likely the delay is with whoever is doing the customs clearance.
