Photobucket...all images on Free Accounts will not now link on forums.

Just logged in to PB and deleted my account,even that was a battle with all the pop ups and slow loading etc,ive opened a flickr account and its so much easier,my 1st ever flickr pic....... (thumbs)

If you remember I actually took the trouble to e-mail PB a couple of times to say that they should sensibly introduce just a small charge for "private" users--and most people would pay I'm sure. Today I received an e-mail from them (probably automated) that actually asked me to rate their customer service(WTF!)--haven't had any reply to my e-mails ! They do seem to be messed up--I suggested that they might end up with just 6 customers--and one of them won't be me! :unsure:

I must ping them too for a laugh.
( At the least they want forty dollars for one month..forty dollars to edit all ride reports to know what pics go where and replace them with the likes of tinypic images etc. )

I just tried the ~original suffix, and fcuk me, the 2 images I tested it on reappeared!

All after I just spent a few hours downloading all my images from PB, with the intention of hosting them on my website's ISP servers.

Many thanks for the tip. Still don't trust those PB barstewards and won't ever use PB again!
