I thought one of the "plus points" fo r electric cars was that they didn't have gallons of inflammable fluids, and were therefore safe from a fire point of view!
This "million pound" electric [strike]toy[/strike] (sorry) car became a fireball!

Batterys are definatly inflammable under certain circumstances especially polymer types like those in mobiles.
