As others have said I find that the local roads are somewhat boring after doing big trips to new and exciting places. The bigger bikes I have feel as though they are just not being stretched on these roads. The solution I found was to buy a 250 Herald, a leather jacket and an open face helmet. I will now happily trundle around the local roads using all the performance of the bike without feeling like I am dressed like a storm trooper. Brought back my mojo and it is my preferred way to kill an hour or two on the bike. I am now even considering doing longer trips on the Herald to add a bit of difficulty and hopefully an increased sense of achievement.
Stick with it you will find what works. (thumbs)
Whats happening to me ?

Herald would be perfect for the Wild Atlantic Way.....just you and nature and the wind and sun along with you.dubber68 wrote:As others have said I find that the local roads are somewhat boring after doing big trips to new and exciting places.
