As others have said I find that the local roads are somewhat boring after doing big trips to new and exciting places. The bigger bikes I have feel as though they are just not being stretched on these roads. The solution I found was to buy a 250 Herald, a leather jacket and an open face helmet. I will now happily trundle around the local roads using all the performance of the bike without feeling like I am dressed like a storm trooper. Brought back my mojo and it is my preferred way to kill an hour or two on the bike. I am now even considering doing longer trips on the Herald to add a bit of difficulty and hopefully an increased sense of achievement.
Stick with it you will find what works. (thumbs)

Herald would be perfect for the Wild Atlantic Way.....just you and nature and the wind and sun along with you.

It is easier to defend yourself against a thousand enemies, than it is to defend against one backstabbing friend
